Happy Highlights

What a great night of games and treats for families, friends, and groups of children of all ages out and about for safe in our case trick AND treating in Wellington Heights Cedar Rapids. We appreciate meeting and greeting so many smiling decorated faces 🎃


Volunteers making decorations to filming became a great learning experience for future events revolving around Wellington Heights and friendly caring neighbor connections.

Beautification Committee is in 2023 planning mode

A. During colder months tackling to dos:

  1. Little Library Project: complete mapping twenty-one Wellington Heights little libraries, connecting with host(s), making a list of repairs if needed, plus gathering sponsors and supplies.

  2. Meetings with Master Gardeners of Linn County to continue planning the growing season. Starting seeds in doors this winter. Gathering supplies. Meeting new volunteers.

  3. Hosting regular meetings working together as a team. Planning activities. Building relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers. Creating grassroots opportunities for our neighbors to connect strengthening this beautiful community.

  4. The website will go through it's annual check up for accessibility, speed maintenance, and SEO or site engine optimization tune up. Including promoting for sponsors, businesses, etc.
